Client Service Agreement (Work Terms)

These terms apply to all services provided by Tippett Handyman Services.

​Scope of Work

Services will be performed according to the agreed estimate or written description of work. Any additional work requested outside the original scope may require a revised estimate.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

​

We may accept payment through:

  • Credit/debit card

  • Electronic payment

  • Check

  • Cash

​

Late payments may incur additional fees.

​

Materials

​​

  • Tippett Handyman Services will purchase materials on the cusotmer's behalf or,

  • Customer may purchase or provide materials.

​

Material costs will be added to the final invoice if materials are purchased by Tippett Handyman Services.

​

Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

​

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe access to the work area

  • Providing a reasonable safe work envrionment

  • Securing pets

  • Ensuring utilities are functioning if required for the job

​

Limitation of Work

We do not perform work requiring specialized licensing where applicable, including but not limited to:

  • Major electrical work

  • Major plumbing

  • Structural modifications

  • Roofing replacement

  • HVAC installation

​

Warranty

Labor is typically guaranteed for 30 days from completion, excluding:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Materials supplied by the customer

  • Damage caused by misuse or external factors

​

Liability

Tippett Handyman Services is insured and will take reasonable care while performing work. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or hidden damage discovered during repairs.

Estimate & Quote Terms

All estimates provided by Tippett Handyman Services are based on the information available at the time of the estimate.

Actual costs may vary if:

  • Additional repairs are required

  • Hidden damage is discovered

  • The scope of work changes

  • Materials or labor requirements change

Customers will be informed of any changes before additional work is performed whenever possible.
